Our Neighbors Require More Than Just Food

Since 1997, Caring Hands Outreach Center has been the hands and feet of Jesus in our community, unconditionally serving our neighbors by offering food, clothing, and other basic necessities.

The needs of our neighbors in southeast Polk County continue to expand. The Hands on Compassion Campaign allows us to broaden our Uplift Program to cultivate relationships with our neighbors and provide support to lift individuals and families up and out of cyclical poverty through mentoring, counseling, and the acquisition of work skills.

We are currently working toward a short-term goal of raising $250,000 for the construction, expansion, and move of the food pantry by early fall, above the $393,000 we've already raised toward the comprehensive campaign.

Please consider a gift to our Hands on Compassion campaign to reach and serve more neighbors with compassion, basic needs, and hope for a brighter future.
